Job description

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of all warehouse activities, including receiving, picking, packing, shipping, and facilities management.
• Ensure the accurate and timely handling, sorting, identification, value addition, transfer, and dispatch of goods in accordance with work instructions (WI) and standard operating procedures (SOP).
• Conduct analysis of inbound and outbound volume forecasts to optimize space and resource planning, ensuring productivity, quality, and customer service targets are met.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to warehouse operations.
• Manage the replenishment of warehouse consumables and coordinate the upgrade/maintenance of material handling equipment.
• Implement cost control measures to enhance efficiency and meet monthly budget targets for handling and supplies.
• Focus on cost-effectiveness, continually striving to improve productivity and the quality of service.
• Conduct regular cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Uphold proper storage practices and adhere to good housekeeping standards, following the principles of 5S.
• Establish and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for efficient warehouse operations.
• Undertake any ad-hoc duties related to warehouse management as assigned by the immediate supervisor.
