Job description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Deputy / Warehouse Manager to support the Warehouse Manager in efficiently directing and overseeing all aspects of our Warehouse fulfillment and operations.

The ideal candidate will be an exceptional leader with a keen eye for optimization, safety, and quality control. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring seamless warehouse operations, driving continuous improvement, and maintaining an environment of excellence. Your expertise in logistics, e-Commerce logistics and supply chain management will be instrumental in enhancing speed, service quality, and cost-effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the entire warehouse operations from shipment receipts to order management, picking, and Inventory management to order fulfillment including packing & dispatch operations.
  • Manage e-Commerce logistics of warehouses and delivery in order to develop strategies to improve speed of orders and service quality and to reduce costs.
  • Meets warehouse financial standards by providing annual budget information; monitoring expenditures; identifying variances; implementing corrective actions.
  • Develop key performance indicators to measure the effectiveness of the warehouse operations.
  • Comprehensive understanding of e-Commerce and supply chain management.
  • Ensure optimum capacity utilization of warehouse by designing best-fit layouts of a warehouse, goods/material placement, inventory movement and maintenance of the warehouse.
  • Strong proficiency warehouse and delivery operations.
  • Keeping stock control systems up to date and making sure inventories are accurate at all times.
  • Ensure safe, clean and healthy working environment in compliance to statutory requirements and company policies.
Job requirements :
  • Min Diploma holder in Logistics or Supply Chain Management, or equivalent.
  • Minimum 4-5 years of experience in warehouse/inventory management in FMCG or E-commerce.
  • Experience in setting up an inventory management system.
  • Manages time effectively and adapts quickly to changing priorities.
  • Team player who works productively with wide range of people.
  • Knowledge of Japanese language to communicate with our Japanese stakeholders.
