A logistics company based in Singapore is seeking a skilled Warehouse Supervisor to oversee daily warehouse operations. You will manage inventory control, supervise staff, and ensure compliance with safety regulations. Key responsibilities include streamlining processes, enhancing workflow, and maintaining accurate records. Assist the Warehouse Manager in overseeing day-to-day warehouse activities including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch.
Ensure smooth workflow and timely order fulfillment.
Monitor stock levels and ensure accurate inventory records.
Support cycle counts, stock audits, and reconciliation of discrepancies.
Implement inventory control practices such as FIFO / FEFO.
Supervise warehouse assistants, pickers, packers, and forklift operators.
Assign daily tasks, monitor attendance, and ensure productivity targets are met.
Train new staff on SOPs, safety procedures, and warehouse systems.
Verify inbound shipments against delivery orders and invoices.
Ensure proper labeling, storage, and handling of goods.
Coordinate outbound deliveries and ensure correct documentation.
Enforce workplace safety and WSH regulations.
Ensure proper use of PPE and safe operation of material handling equipment.
Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard‑free warehouse environment.
Inspect goods for damage, quantity, and quality upon receiving and before dispatch.
Minimize errors, losses, and damages through proper handling practices.
Assist in implementing efficient warehouse layouts and workflow improvements.
Identify operational issues and recommend corrective actions.
Support warehouse system upgrades and process automation.
Liaise with logistics, transport teams, suppliers, and internal departments.
Communicate daily operational issues to the Warehouse Manager.
Support customer service teams with delivery‑related inquiries.
Prepare daily and weekly operational reports.
Maintain accurate records for inventory, deliveries, and manpower.
Assist in audits and compliance checks.
Act as Warehouse Manager in their absence.
Assist with manpower planning, scheduling, and performance monitoring.
Support budgeting and cost‑control initiatives where required.
