Job summary

A logistics and supply chain company in Singapore is seeking a Warehouse Assistant. Responsibilities include managing stock levels, ensuring compliance with safety procedures, and assisting with inventory. The ideal candidate should work well in a team and have a good understanding of warehouse operations. This position offers a basic salary of $1900 - $2000 depending on experience, with working hours from 8.30am to 6.30pm, Monday to Friday.

Warehouse Assistant

Salary: Basic $1900 - $2000 (depending on experience)

Location: Tukang (West Area)

Working hours: 5 days work 8.30am-6.30pm (Mon-Fri)

Responsibilities:

• Assess stock levels of the warehouse and report needs to supervisor.
• Stock supplies on shelves and perform warehouse maintenance.
• Receive stock and ship orders
• Ensure that all tasks performed follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and comply with Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) principles designed to protect the product from adulteration.
• Assist other Teams as and when required.
• Cyclic stock taking as required.
• Special projects and other requests as determined from time to time.
• Performs physical equipment inventories on a regular basis, deliveries and driving MHE if you have valid forklift licence.
• Verify transport documents and communicate with reception.

Requirements:

• Ability to work well in a team with other staff, Warehouse Packers, to coordinate the movement of goods
• Knowledge of warehouse health and safety requirements
• Knowledge of industrial storage procedures, such as the correct way to stack pallets on top of one another
• Ability to itemise and record stock for inventories
