Role & responsibilities:
The VP of Marketing will be responsible for leading and driving the entire marketing strategy, operations, and brand presence across the APAC region. This includes overseeing all aspects of marketing, from traditional and digital marketing efforts to brand management, content strategy, and customer engagement. This role requires a visionary leader with strong business acumen, deep marketing expertise, and exceptional cross-functional collaboration skills.
1. Strategic Marketing Leadership:
- Develop & Execute Regional Marketing Strategy: Design and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to drive business growth, brand awareness, and customer engagement across all APAC countries.
- Alignment with Business Goals: Ensure the marketing strategy aligns with the overall business objectives and global brand guidelines, while also catering to local market needs and trends.
- Market Expansion: Identify new market opportunities, expand brand presence, and drive growth across the APAC region by understanding local consumer behaviors and preferences.
2. Brand Management:
- Brand Strategy: Oversee and manage the companys brand image and positioning across all APAC markets.
- Consistent Messaging: Ensure that marketing campaigns are consistent across the region while being tailored to the unique needs of each country.
- Crisis Management: Lead any public relations initiatives or crisis communications efforts in the region, ensuring the brand reputation is maintained.
3. Digital & Traditional Marketing Leadership:
- Digital Transformation: Spearhead digital marketing initiatives such as SEO, SEM, content marketing, social media campaigns, and email marketing to increase online visibility and engagement.
- Integrated Campaigns: Lead the development and execution of cross-channel marketing campaigns that include digital, print, TV, and event marketing.
- Data-Driven Decisions: Utilize analytics tools to measure, report, and optimize the performance of marketing campaigns in real-time
4. Team Leadership & Collaboration:
- Team Management: Lead a diverse marketing team, providing guidance and mentorship, fostering innovation, and driving high performance.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with sales, product, operations, finance, and other departments to ensure marketing efforts support business growth and customer acquisition strategies across APAC.
- Talent Development: Attract, retain, and develop top-tier marketing talent in the region. Foster a culture of creativity, collaboration, and continuous learning
Market Research & Consumer Insights:
- Consumer Behavior Analysis: Conduct market research to understand evolving customer needs, competitor activities, and emerging industry trends across the APAC region.
- Customer-Centric Marketing: Leverage insights to develop tailored marketing strategies that resonate with local audiences while maintaining brand integrity.
Preferred candidate profile:
1. Experience
- Minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in marketing, with at least 5-7 years in a senior leadership role, preferably in multinational or regional marketing teams.
- Experience managing APAC marketing operations is critical, with a deep understanding of diverse markets within the region.
- Proven experience in handling multi-million-dollar marketing budgets and a track record of driving measurable results and ROI across marketing initiatives.
- Strong background in digital marketing and brand management at a regional or global level

- Excellent Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly to senior leadership and external stakeholders.
- Adaptability & Agility: Comfort with working in dynamic, fast-paced environments, and an ability to adjust strategies in real-time based on market feedback.
- Crisis Management: Experience in managing the brand and communications during times of crisis or negative publicity.
3. Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field (Required)
- Master’s Degree (MBA) or specialized marketing certifications (Preferred).
