Job Title: VP, Lead Application Developer, Consumer Banking Technology, Group Technology (WD72264)

Group Technology enables and empowers the bank with an efficient, nimble and resilient infrastructure through a strategic focus on productivity, quality & control, technology, people capability and innovation. In Group Technology, we manage the majority of the Bank's processes and inspire to delight our business partners through our multiple banking delivery channels.

Responsibilities

This person is part of the team that’s building Financial Planning Platform (Nav Planner) to provide a lifetime integrated financial experience to customers by raising financial literacy, providing nudges and delivering personalized solutions across the entire banking spectrum. This person is responsible for developing cutting‑edge enterprise applications to support business initiatives in different regions, countries.

This role will work closely with the financial planning team to develop or enhance features in an agile environment based on requirements from the business team. This is a lead with hands‑on role that requires a strong candidate with good experience in software solution, design, a passion to code, test, and deliver with highest quality applications.

Requirements

• Excellent in Java programming,
• Excellent in RDBMS (MariaDB, MySQL...). No‑sql experience is a plus.
• Excellent in message queue systems especially Apache Kafka.
• Excellent in building reusable components/libraries that can be shared across applications.
• Excellent knowledge on handling large scale systems in terms of number of components/system integration & load.
• Working experience in Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF)/OpenShift is a must.
• Excellent teamwork, problem‑solving, documentation and communication skills.
• Good at troubleshooting, especially system performance tracing & improvement.
• Good understanding of full‑stack developments.
