Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for hiring, skilling and coaching a team of wealth planning managers to actively drive customer engagement activites focusing on holistic financial planning.
  • Ensure needs-based approach, comply with FA Act, Fair Dealing and adhere to both internal and external regulatory requirements and policies.
  • Act as a single point of accountability for the assigned team and responsible for the overall business performance, business quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure effective use of resources; create a high performance culture through motivation, training, development of the team members.
Requirements:
  • A good degree with at least 5 years' experience in the financial services industry, preferably with a good track record in financial advisory businessmanagement
  • Sound understanding of financial planning, wealth management products as well as banking operations
  • Good knowledge of financial costing, including P&L management, and business marketing strategies and techniques
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal and people management skills with the ability to relate and manage all levels of staff and has relevant experience in development of high-performing relationship managers
  • Preferably with CMFAS Mod 5, 8, 9, CHI, AFP, AFC, CLU, ChFC, CFP qualifications would be an added advantage
