Department: Communications & Media Centre (CMC)/ Streams of Life (SOL)

Reports to: Communications Senior Manager

Overall responsibilities: We are seeking a talented and versatile individual to join our team as a Videographer & Photographer cum Video Editor. This role involves managing various aspects of video and photography projects, from project delegation to final editing. The ideal candidate is creative, detail-oriented, and proficient in both videography and photography techniques.

Key areas of Responsibility
  • Project Delegation: Delegate video projects to outsourced video editors while ensuring adherence to project timelines and quality standards.
    Coordinate with external vendors and freelancers as needed.
  • Quality Checker: Ensure the quality of major video productions, including corporate videos, promotional videos, teasers/stingers, sermons, and post-video editing.
    Conduct thorough reviews to maintain consistency and excellence in the final output.
  • Writer/Editor: Collaborate with the team to develop scripts and storyboards for major video productions, particularly those related to corporate matters.
    Edit and refine scripts to align with the project objectives and messaging.
  • Videographer and Photographer: Capture high-quality photos and videos during event coverages for both internal and external clients.
    Utilize creative techniques and equipment to produce compelling visual content.
  • Video Editor for Urgent Requests: Respond promptly to urgent corporate video requests and ensure timely delivery of edited videos.
    Maintain flexibility and adaptability to meet changing project demands.
  • Procurement of Media Equipment: Research and procure media equipment required for video and photography projects.
    Manage inventory and ensure equipment is well‑maintained and in working condition.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in videography, photography, and video editing roles.
  • Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects) and photography editing tools (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom).
  • Strong creative vision and storytelling skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain high‑quality standards.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Experience in project management and vendor coordination is preferred.
  • Knowledge of current trends and best practices in videography, photography, and video editing.
