    As a VICE PRESIDENT - COMPLIANCE SURVEILLANCE at HSBC India, your role involves supporting the India Compliance team in conducting surveillance activities to identify instances of market abuse or misconduct within the forex and fixed income markets. You will be responsible for analyzing alerts from automated trade surveillance systems, conducting manual surveillance controls, and contributing to enhancing investigatory capabilities by identifying new data sources and investigative techniques.Your key responsibilities will include performing trade surveillance, escalating potential market abuse alerts, supporting strategic initiatives for next-generation surveillance capabilities, building strong relationships with stakeholders, and promoting best practices within the Surveillance function. Additionally, you are expected to have a strong understanding of financial markets, market abuse risks, and relevant regulatory frameworks, with experience in surveillance monitoring or investigative functions being preferable.To excel in this role, you should possess a minimum of a Graduation degree and at least 5 years of experience in surveillance, forex/bond market operations, or trading desk roles.
