We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Vice President, Business Development Manager.

In this role you will:
  • Develop and implement distribution strategies and models to achieve high growth and profitability from targeted segments of the Bancassurance channel.
  • Grow business financial targets by exploring new business opportunities including developing products to access additional market segments and engagement preferences of the consumers.
  • Achieve segment targets by growing differentiated, sustainable channels according to Strategic Plan targets that will improve Distribution KPIs.
  • Conduct branch huddles and coordinate training programs for distributors.
  • Support case management including facilitation and oversight of the internal operation - submission to inception ratios targets; length of time in each case processing steps (SLAs) and maintaining a high level of submission-to-inception ratio
  • Plan deck strategy and analysis/commentary of Management Information (MI) and support the implementation of insurance strategic projects within the channels
To be successful you will need:
  • Strong experience in life insurance preferably in sales management.
  • A sound knowledge of the life insurance, Business/Commercial Banking and Private Banking business, the various distribution channels segments, products and processes.
  • Have in-depth understanding of the landscape in the insurance industry in Singapore.
  • Understand customer buying preferences not only of different channels but different touch points as well.
  • Able to execute strategic plans and their impact on the business.
