Job description

Responsibilities:

Cloud, Data & Infrastructure

• Design, deploy, and manage Windows Servers and cloud infrastructure on AWS and Azure.
• Develop and maintain SQL objects (queries, stored procedures, functions, triggers).
• Design and implement scalable data pipelines, ETL/ELT workflows, data marts, and data warehouses.
• Build and optimize cloud-based data assets, including large-scale data warehouse and data lakehouse migrations.
• Ensure data quality, security, and governance through validation, monitoring, access control, and encryption.
• Optimize database and query performance to improve reliability and reduce latency.
• Implement automation, CI/CD, and DevOps integration for data workflows and reporting

Data & Analytics

• Automate reporting and deliver meaningful, actionable data insights.
• Design and maintain data models supporting business and analytics needs.

Business Analysis & Project Delivery

• Gather and analyze business requirements, assess risks, and propose technical solutions.
• Manage end-to-end project delivery, including scope, timelines, budgets, and vendor coordination.
• Prepare and maintain project and functional documentation.
• Lead system testing, UAT, and user training.
• Act as the primary point of contact for system support, issue resolution, and continuous improvement.

Collaboration & Ad-hoc Support

• Work closely with business users, IT teams, and vendors to deliver scalable, best-practice solutions.
• Support ad-hoc projects and digital initiatives as assigned.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a SQL Server Data Engineer or Administrator.
• Microsoft SQL Server Certification (e.g., Microsoft Certified: SQL Server DBA or Azure Database Administrator Associate) is required.
• Hands‑on experience with Azure SQL Database and Microsoft SQL Server (2016 and above)
• Strong knowledge of SQL Server high availability and disaster recovery solutions
• Solid expertise in database design, data modeling, and SQL development
• Proven skills in performance tuning, query optimization, and indexing strategies
• Experience with scripting and automation using T‑SQL and PowerShell
• Familiarity with MySQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB is an advantage
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, documentation, and communication skills
• Snowflake implementation experience is a plus
