Job summary

A technology company in Singapore is looking for an Engineering Technician to define and develop test specifications, troubleshoot assemblies, and prepare technical reports. Responsibilities
  • Define and develop test specifications, methods, and procedures based on blueprints, drawings, or diagrams.
  • Test and troubleshoot assemblies or final systems, including performing rework when necessary.
  • Perform set-up, calibration, testing, and troubleshooting of circuits, components, instruments, and mechanical assemblies.
  • Prepare technical reports with findings and recommend solutions to technical issues.
  • Support the selection and set-up of specialized testing equipment as needed.
Requirements
  • Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering.
  • Proficient in reading technical drawings and procedures, with hands‑on use of precision testing and measuring instruments.
  • Prior experience with semiconductor equipment; optics alignment experience is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills for problem resolution, experiment setup, and data analysis.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate well with others.
  • Willing to work shifts and in a cleanroom environment.
