A leading telecom company in Singapore is looking for a technical operations specialist to maintain and troubleshoot transmission networks. The role requires hands-on experience in WAN and LAN technologies and relevant qualifications in electronics or telecommunications. You'll be involved in network installations, performance monitoring, and collaborating with engineering teams to ensure seamless service delivery. Qualifications

• Minimum qualification of IT Diploma in Electronics, Telecommunication or Computer Science.
• Relevant working experience in Technical Operations and/or Service Delivery in Large Enterprises or Service Providers.
• A good understanding of Change, Incident & Problem management.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance work on transmission networks/equipment supporting international services.
• Support on-site installation and commissioning testing of the terrestrial network.
• Attend to and rectify faults pertaining to terrestrial network and its associated equipment.
• Monitor equipment/system performance and prepare statistical reports.

Skills

Hands-on experience in WAN and LAN

Working knowledge of SDH/SONET, EoSDH, DWDM or OTN

Good interpersonal and communication skills
