Job summary

A leading energy company in Singapore is seeking an experienced professional to manage international trade contracts. The ideal candidate possesses a Bachelor's degree and at least 5 years in the petroleum industry, with strong negotiation and communication skills. Proficiency in both English and Chinese is required. This role involves contract execution, coordination with finance, and logistics management.

Job description
Job Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for the drafting and subsequent execution of international trade contracts, and responsible for the daily management of contract documents.
  • Coordinate with the Finance Department in completing the opening of Letters of Credit (L/C) under equity oil contracts.
  • Responsible for loading and unloading, payment of goods, insurance claims, delivery of invoices, bills of lading and other cargo documents under the contract.
  • Regularly conduct inspection and review on the fulfillment of contract obligations.
  • Assist the supervisor in reviewing annual, quarterly and monthly trade contract progress plans, and establishing and managing contract files.
  • Complete other tasks assigned by the supervisor.
Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or above, preferably in Petroleum and Chemical Engineering, International Trade, or Economics.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in international trade execution in the petroleum industry, familiar with the characteristics of the industry's development, with industry customers is preferred.
  • Familiar with the specific transaction process and contract execution process of international crude oil trade; proficient in the application of MS Office and other office software.
  • Abilities in market expansion, negotiation, communication, planning, and coordination.
  • Bilingual listening, reading and writing skills in English and Chinese as a working language.
