A leading trading firm in Singapore is looking for experienced Traders for their Sugar Trading operations. The ideal candidates should have significant experience in Agri-commodities, strong numerical skills, and the ability to foster client relationships. You will maintain trading books and produce market insights while being flexible to travel globally. This role offers a dynamic environment with a focus on collaboration and results.

Qualifications

• 7-10 years of experience for Senior Trader and 3-5 years for Junior Trader in Agri-commodities.
• Experience in sales, relationship management or procurement.
• Strong numerical and economic background required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and analyze a regional physical Sugar Trading book.
• Handle export/import data with colleagues and external counter-parties.
• Meet customers to maintain a client network and gather market information.
• Produce market reports and statistical market information to support senior traders.

• Support to senior traders in form of producing market reports and statistical market information.

Requirements

• Have had 7-10 years of experience for Senior Trader and 3-5 years of experience for Junior Trader in Agri‑commodities especially Sugar.
• Have either some sales, relationship management or procurement experience.
• Have a strong numerical and economic background.
• Be willing to be based in Singapore, with flexibility to travel globally.
• Need to be a good team player with impressive interpersonal skills.
