Job description

Responsibilities:

• Plan inspection programs and adhere to quality control requirements.
• Conduct audits and inspections to ensure compliance with ISO quality management system requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions.
• Perform daily track inspections with clients and the construction team.
• Develop and deliver training programs on ISO quality management system.
• Review materials for any physical damage and ensure there is proper traceability to FATs (Factory Acceptance Test).
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and customer requirements.
• Coordinate with LTA, SMRT, and suppliers to carry out material inspections.
• Prepare daily submission of reports and rejection reports.
• Ensure all equipment and tools used are calibrated regularly.
• Prepare concrete-related reports for submission to LTA.
• Inspect concrete sleepers laying and check for any hogging or sagging in the sleepers.
• Train supervisors to carry out NDT tests on rail welds and closely monitor the test results.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in quality engineering roles with ISO standards.
• Strong knowledge of ISO quality management systems and associated standards (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 18000).
• Experience in railway projects is highly desirable.
