Job Scope
Development and delivery of institutional-wide strategic events
- Plan and coordinate arrangements for events and official visits.
- Develop and print publicity materials such as information leaflets, signage and slides.
- Conduct timely scan on the development of technology in the education sphere, especially in the area of AI.
- Enhance reputation both locally and internationally.
- Increase brand visibility through a positive and professional image
- Improve awareness of technological trends and developments in the educational field.
Professional development
- Participate in projects involving departments internally or external organisations.
- Awareness of programmes and developments
Support of committees
- Serve as secretariat to committees/taskforces chaired by Chief Learning and Innovations Officer (CLIO) or Chief Strategy and Partnerships Officer (CSPO), where applicable.
- Contribute towards the success of institute-wide initiatives
Ensuring compliance to relevant policies and regulations
- Liaise with partners and external stakeholders on legal documentation pertaining to research projects.
- Ensure that research projects documentation and processes comply with policies and regulations.
Administration and staff development.
- Manage the filing and administration of documents in the office.
- Plan and monitor the budget allocated to the office.
- Handle despatch duties.
- Serve as Personal Assistant to CLIO and CSPO.
- Any other duties as assigned by CLIO and CSPO
- Proper administration of documents and records in the office.
Requirements
- Diploma Holder / Degree Holder
- At least 3-5 years working experience with a good track record.
- Relevant experience in the education sector.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent interpersonal, critical thinking, communication, writing and organisational skills.
- Conceptualisation and analytical skills.
- Minute-taking and report writing skills.
- Self-motivated.
- Ability to work independently and as a team player.
- High integrity, professionalism, adaptability and willingness to go the extra mile.
- Keen interest in education.
Working Arrangements
- Monday to Thursday: 8.30am – 5.45pm
- Friday: 8.30am – 5.15pm
Contract Duration: 3 months (possible to extend)
Location: West
Salary: $3000 to $6000
