Job description

We are partnering with a leading global bank to appoint an experienced Tech Program Manager to drive large-scale Transaction Banking technology initiatives across the region. This is a senior, business-critical role overseeing multi-year transformation across Trade Finance, Payments/Cash Management, and related transaction banking platforms.

This position offers the opportunity to lead a sizeable technology portfolio and team while shaping the next three years of the bank’s transformation agenda.

📍 Location Requirement: Must be based in Singapore. No visa sponsorship provided

🔑 What You'll Do

• Lead and oversee a large portfolio including domestic payments, cross-border payments, syndicate loans, and trade finance platforms.
• Manage and mentor a team of 15–20 (Application Leads, Project Managers, Business Analysts).
• Drive the rollout of cash management and/or trade finance systems, ensuring alignment with global and regional strategies.
• Develop new service capabilities and steer the enhancement and customisation of solutions across the application portfolio.
• Collaborate closely with global teams, offshore centres, and branch IT heads to execute large-scale, multi-country initiatives.
• Champion Change-the-Bank transformation programs (approx. 70% of the role), leading global and regional change mandates.
• Oversee Run-the-Bank responsibilities (approx. 30%), ensuring platform resilience, ITSM governance, and operational stability.

🎯 What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience delivering or implementing solutions in cash management, trade finance, liquidity management, domestic and cross-border payments, or SWIFT-related platforms.
• Strong understanding of Transaction Banking products, their technology ecosystems, and real-world applications.
• Demonstrated ability to manage large, complex technology portfolios and lead cross-functional teams.
• Experience working in global/regional matrix environments within financial services.
• Track record of executing transformation initiatives within the transaction banking domain.
