Job summary

A Singapore-based engineering firm is seeking an experienced aircon technician to perform installation, servicing, and repair of air-conditioning systems. The role requires excellent troubleshooting skills for aircon issues and the ability to work collaboratively with a team. Candidates should have relevant certifications and 3 to 5 years of experience in the ACMV trade. Those holding a driving license will have an advantage.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years related work experience in ACMV trade.
• Ability to work with electronic components and handle PCBs delicately.
• Driving license is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Installation, servicing, and repair of air-conditioning systems.
• Identify and troubleshoot aircon problems.
• Report issues to supervisor and recommend solutions.
• Work collaboratively with other technicians and supervisors.

Job description

Roles & Responsibilities

• Aircon services (Installation, servicing & repair of air-conditioning)
• Identify and Troubleshoot aircon problems
• Competent in copper/copper or copper / brass brazing (i.e. able to replace compressor, filter dryer and other refrigeration parts requiring solder connections)
• Reporting aircon faulty issues and proposing what needs to be fixed to direct Supervisor
• Installation of all types of air conditioning(VRV experienced an added advantage)
• Install, replace, or repair of aircon spare part that has been damaged
• Meticulous and delicate when handling PCBs and other electronic components
• Carry out air conditioning services.
• Work with other technicians as a team, report to svc coordinator and supervisor

Qualification

• Nitec in Building Services / Mechanical / Electrical and/or Vocational Certification from Recognized Institution or Equivalent Years in the ACMV Trade.
• Minimum 3 to 5 years related work experience
• Those who have driving license will be advantage.
