Job summary

A leading manufacturing firm in Singapore is seeking a Technician, Manufacturing Engineer to manage routine maintenance of production equipment and utilities. This role involves troubleshooting equipment issues, participating in cross-functional improvement programs, and supporting engineers in documentation. Candidates should possess a Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering with at least 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment. Familiarity with wire processing or laser ablation engineering is advantageous. The company offers a dynamic environment focused on safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Min 2 years working experience, preferably in a manufacturing industry.
• Background in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronic required.
• Experience in Wire process or Laser ablation Engineering is a plus.

About the job Technician, Manufacturing Engineer

• Execute the routine preventive maintenance and necessary setup for the site facility utilities systems, production equipment, automation systems, control systems, gases systems, etc. in a timely manner and in compliance with engineering standards, operating policies & procedures, and safety requirements. Supervise and verify third party contractors work in some cases.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production equipment and manufacturing process problems with prioritization on equipment corrective maintenance
• Participate in problem solving discussions with cross functional teams to identify and define equipment and process problems root cause, evaluate solutions, act on action plans, and continue to make improvements
• Support engineer in performing manufacturing process work instructions, process & equipment risk assessment, etc. documents write up
• Support engineer in new equipment commissioning, process setup, and with subsequent completion of necessary documentation
• All GMP documentation related to maintenance activities is completed accurately and processed to full completion in compliance to data integrity requirements.
• Participate operations continuous improvement programs in the aspect of safety, quality, yield, productivity, cost efficiency, etc. and carry out assigned project tasks

Requirement

• Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics.Diploma in other Technical / Material Science fields may be considered.
• Min 2 year working experience, preferably in manufacturing industry
• Background in Mechanical /Electrical / Electronic
• Experience in Manufacturing working environment
• Experience in Wire process or Laser ablation Engineering is a plus.
