Job Description
- Perform general repair and maintenance tasks (carpentry, painting, minor fixes).
- Handle basic electrical and plumbing work (lights, outlets, leaks, clogs, etc.).
- Assist on troubleshooting of equipment.
- Assist with ACMV and generators upkeep.
- Escort and oversee external vendors during onsite works.
- Perform walkabout and safety checks.
- Support setup for events and assist other departments as needed.
- Provide emergency repair support, including after-hours standby on rotation.
- Maintain maintenance records and ensure safety compliance.
- Working Hours : (Monday to Friday): 08:30 am to 05:30 pm, (Saturday): 8:30 am to 12:30 pm.
Job Specification
- Minimum NITEC in Engineering (Mechanical & Electrical/ Building Services/ Facility Management or equivalent).
- At least 2 years of proven experience in general maintenance, handyman, or facility technician work.
- Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and sanitary systems.
- Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
- Understanding of workplace safety and compliance standards.
- Physically fit and able to perform manual tasks (e.g. lifting, climbing, standing for long periods).
- Professional, respectful attitude—especially when interacting with elderly residents and staff.
- Willingness to work after-hours standby rotation.
