Job summary

A leading HR consultancy in Singapore is seeking an experienced IT Trainer to deliver technical training to internal teams and partners. You will be responsible for designing instructional content, ensuring technical accuracy, and evaluating training effectiveness. The ideal candidate should have a degree in IT and proven experience as an IT Trainer. IT Trainer

Location: Bugis

Working days: 5 days (Mon - Fri)
Working time: 9.00 to 6.00 pm
Salary: Depends on experience

Overview

We are seeking an experienced IT Trainer to deliver technical training to internal teams, partners, and end-users. The ideal candidate must have a background in IT systems and applications and preferably hold the Advanced Certificate in Learning and Performance (ACLP). This role includes instructional delivery and training content development, with an emphasis on technical accuracy and improvement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver instructor‑led and virtual classroom training to partners and end‑user customers on a regular schedule.
  • Work closely with key vendors to ensure training content is accurate, up‑to‑date, and aligned with business needs.
  • Provide technically relevant instruction, assessment, and feedback in both lecture and hands‑on lab environments.
  • Prepare and maintain comprehensive course syllabus, ensuring all learning objectives are clearly defined.
  • Design, update, and maintain all instructional course materials, including manuals, presentations, and training content.
  • Utilize training technologies such as video conferencing, distance learning platforms, and Learning Management Systems (LMS).
  • Conduct training needs analysis to identify skill gaps and recommend appropriate learning solutions.
  • Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and IT practices.
  • Evaluate training effectiveness and implement improvements based on feedback and performance metrics.
Requirements
  • Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an IT Trainer, Technical Instructor, or similar role.
  • Knowledge of enterprise software, productivity tools, and IT systems.
  • Familiarity with adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
  • Certifications such as MCT, ACLP and others related to vendor certifications are a plus.
  • Experience with e‑learning tools and Learning Management Systems (LMS) is an advantage.
