Job description

Job Responsibilities

• (1) To oversee the design, integration, and commissioning of specialist works.
• (2) Review and approve design specifications, materials selections, and technical submittals.
• (3) Manage risks and ensure constructability in design decisions for all inter-facing works.
• (4) Plan and manage design/technical process, including schedules.
• (5) Prepare as-built drawings for clients/authorities submission.
• (6) Interface with clients, main contractors to align design and achieve project goals.
• (7) Provide technical support to construction and procurement teams, including engineering clarifications.
• (8) Ensure compliance with local standards and regulations.
• (9) BIM Leadership: Organize and attend User/Client meetings acting as a BIM Lead-Manager as required.
• (10) Technically sound in planning the BIM base for the project with local standards, good practice and ease for coordination.
• (11) Responsible to define LOD requirements across projects stages.
• (12) To take a leadership role in preparing BIP (BIM Implementation Plan) for the BIM team.
• (13) Develop and maintain project-specific BIM Execution Plan (BEP) and BIM Implementation Plan (BIP).
• (14) Chair weekly BIM coordination meetings, resolving priority issues.
• (15) Team Development: Plan & conduct internal training to the team of BIM Coordinators and BIM Modelers.
• (16) Mentor BIM Coordinators and Modelers; conduct internal training sessions.
• (17) recommend and organize BIM courses, seminars, and certifications for continuous team development.

Job Requirements

• (1) Minimum a Degree in Engineering with at least 6 years and above of working experience in large scale projects in construction, design, drafting or coordination in services.
• (2) With at least 6 years of BIM coordination/management experience in the relevant industry for large scale projects.
• (3) Proficient on the use of BIM software (Revit, and other relevant design and modelling tools, including programming software such as Rhino and Grasshopper).
• (4) Self-motivated, able to assume responsibility and ability to handle pressure.
• (5) Good communication and documentation skills.
