About the Role

This role oversees and drives both the planning and day‑to‑day execution of Heartware Network’s marketing, communications, and engagement initiatives. It bridges strategy and implementation by guiding campaign development, content creation, event coordination, and digital presence management. This role also monitors progress, provides feedback, fosters cross‑team collaboration, and ensures that all activities strengthen Heartware Network’s visibility, community outreach, and fundraising efforts while aligning with organisational goals.

Key Areas of Responsibility
Marketing & Communications
  • Develop and oversee the integrated marketing, communications, and engagement (MCE) strategyEnsure brand consistency and messaging alignment across all channels
  • Supervise website content, SEO/SEM optimisation, and analytics
  • Lead the production of annual reports, corporate videos, newsletters, and publications
  • Plan and ensure the quality, delivery, and relevance of content to maintain brand viability
  • Support and execute marketing, communications, and engagement initiatives
  • Handle project and programme management, including tracking progress of deliverables
  • Align campaigns with volunteer recruitment and fundraising objectives
  • Mentor and guide executives in content, design, and editorial work
  • Provide support in managing team workflows and monitoring progress
Engagement & Events
  • Plan, oversee, and implement the execution of key events (e.g., fundraising gala, outreach programmes)
  • Manage day‑to‑day event operations and ensure alignment with organisational goals
  • Lead event marketing campaigns and ensure strong stakeholder engagement
  • Negotiate and manage relationships with vendors, sponsors, and partners
  • Assist in developing materials and supporting project/programme planning
  • Coordinate internal collaboration across teams for smooth event delivery
  • Supervise and collate post‑event evaluations and reports
Other Duties
  • Execute day‑to‑day projects and ensure deliverables align with organisational strategy
  • Work closely with the Executive Director to align MCE direction with organisational objectives
  • Track and monitor expenditures, managing the MCE budget and resources effectively
  • Conduct induction briefings on brand voice and communications
  • Support project and programme implementation through coordination and progress tracking
  • Perform ad hoc duties assigned by the Supervisor / Executive Director

  • Preferably with 3 - 5 years of related experience in non‑profit sector and on areas such as publicity, marketing, communications or event management
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
  • Able to work on weekends.
