A leading defense and security firm in Singapore is seeking a System Consultant to join their Digital Intelligence Hub. A successful candidate for this role will work in Digital Intelligence’s Singapore Hub, with a focus on delivering and support complex systems to our customers.
A System Consultant is a versatile systems deployment engineer within the local engineering team. They are characterized by strong IT fundamentals and are adept at deploying, integrating, and supporting a diverse mix of infrastructure and application technologies in the mission‑critical, complex systems built by BAE. In this role, the selected candidate will operate in a high‑security environment, working with very large datasets and solving challenging engineering problems at scale to help our customers defend against threats in the connected world.
A successful System Consultant is highly technical, has a curious mind about technology, proclivity to seek improvement and bold to make feasible recommendations or carry out controlled technical implementation.
Ideally, someone who is adept at working within a structured project schedule but also willing to go above and beyond to meet tight timelines when necessary. He/she should not only be skilled in handling systems but also effective in engaging with customers. A good dose of engineering discipline, particularly in thorough and accurate documentation, is essential.
This is an extremely hands‑on role, and candidates should possess a relentless drive to gain extensive knowledge of BAE products, third‑party tools, and the fast‑paced, evolving technologies in our domain.
