Job summary

A leading beverage company in Singapore is seeking an IT professional to manage server administration and IT infrastructure. Responsibilities include overseeing firewall management, conducting preventive maintenance, and supporting internal training programs. The ideal candidate has a diploma in a related field and 2+ years of hands-on experience in technologies such as Active Directory, Office 365, and cloud infrastructure. Fluency in English is required, and Mandarin is preferred.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Report to IT Manager and provide server administration.

• Review and recommend security patches monthly.
• Conduct preventive maintenance of servers and network.
• Participate in staff training for IT literacy.
• Develop automation scripts and enforce IT protocols.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Report to IT Manager (Infrastructure)
• Provides server administration and operations maintenance
• Manage firewall, antivirus endpoints, backup servers and other infrastructure
• Responsible for daily review of server and network batch jobs, problem logs and resolutions
• Assist in Store and site renovation projects, covering IT infrastructure, CCTV, biometric access etc.
• Review and recommend security patches monthly for the deployment of security updates on servers and network appliance
• Preventive maintenance and server housekeeping activities to upkeep servers and network health
• Participate in staff training to raise the general IT literacy of users
• Develop automation scripts, runbooks, and enforce IT protocols across multi-parties.

Requirements

• Diploma/degree in Computer Science, Software engineering or other similar discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in Active Directory, scripting, DNS/ DHCP, Firewalls, Office 365, Sharepoint, Microsoft Teams, JIRA, Microsoft Planners, Hyper-V, WSUS, Antivirus, Microsoft SQL, Oracle SQL servers
• Work experience in Cloud infrastructure (Azure, AWS) will be advantageous
• Able to work independently and as a team
• Team player with good communication and documentation skills
• Must be fluent in English.
• Ability to communicate in Mandarin is advantageous to support North Asia countries
