Our client, a well‑known company is looking for candidates for the position of Sustainability Executive.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Engage with suppliers to align sourcing practices with industry regulations and sustainability policies.

  • Conduct on‑site audits and perform supply chain due diligence to assess compliance and risks.

  • Monitor risk assessment processes and identify areas that require strategic mitigation.

  • Collaborate with diverse stakeholders, including industry associations and local communities, to promote sustainable practices.

  • Support and implement capacity‑building projects with smallholders in sourcing regions.

  • Prepare and deliver reports detailing progress and performance of sustainability efforts to both internal teams and external audiences.

REQUIREMENTS
  • A Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Studies, Geography, or a related discipline.

  • 1‑3 years of experience in corporate sustainability, including relevant internships.

  • Strong understanding of sustainability challenges within supply chains such as deforestation and carbon emissions.

  • Demonstrated critical thinking and decision‑making skills.

  • Proactive and self‑directed approach to work.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Experience with geospatial analysis (QGIS) is highly desirable.

  • Previous experience in the commodities sector or knowledge of the natural rubber industry is a considerable asset.

  • Willingness to travel frequently (up to 30%) to natural rubber sourcing regions, including remote areas.
