Responsibilities

• Negotiate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and cost reduction.
• Identify and resolve potential supply chain issues.
• Conduct capacity and performance analysis and provide forecasts.
• Negotiate contracts and rates with shipping lines, freight forwarders, brokers, and 3rd-party logistic service providers to ensure appropriate compliance in export and import procedures.
• Conduct monthly capacity and performance analysis and provide forecasts and schedules that align with customer requirements.
• Conduct weekly/monthly inventory reports to provide stakeholders with actionable data and insights regarding stock levels, inventory turns, and supply and demand.
• Promote and implement cost reduction programs through continuous improvement and measure their effectiveness on departmental activities.
• Provide weekly/monthly shipment reports and ensure shipments are on time based on customer demands and provide proactive solutions to close gaps.
• Manage labor costs, personnel growth and productivity, ensure acceptable inventory levels, system data accuracy, and stocking strategies.
