Job summary

A specialized construction firm in Singapore is seeking an experienced individual to lead and manage a team for Pipeline projects. The ideal candidate should have over 5 years of pipe fitting experience in carbon steel or stainless-steel, along with strong leadership skills. Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of pipe fitting experience in carbon steel or stainless-steel Pipeline projects.
• Basic English writing/speaking with written materials ordering skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team for Pipeline projects in Construction and Industrial sectors.
• Carry out inspections and ensure compliance with installation requirements.
• Maintain project budget and manage materials ordering.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of workers for Pipeline related projects in Construction and Industrial sectors


• Well versed in Chilled water pipe or Process water pipe installation


• Good knowledge in carbon steel / stainless steel pipe fitting, fabrication, and installation


• Good knowledge in reading construction plans drawing and calculation of Bill of Materials


• Able to read project schedule and application of Permit to work


• Lead workplace safety and promotes safe practices at the job site


• Provide materials ordering and good inventory management on project site


• Ensure project is executed within budget


• Provide regular inspections to daily work site and ensure installation is according to requirement.


• Any other duties as assigned and comply to ISO / OSHA standards

• Lead, manage and motivate allocated team member(s)


• Develop clear goals that is in line with Management’s direction


• Be an excellent team player/mentor to collaborate with the internal and external teams/business partners

Requirements
