Responsibilities

• Oversee daily site operations and ensure work is carried out according to plans and specifications.
• Coordinate and supervise construction workers and subcontractors.
• Enforce safety regulations and promote a safe work environment.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and toolbox talks.
• Monitor the quality of materials and workmanship.
• Ensure compliance with building codes, standards, and project specifications.
• Prepare daily work schedules and assign tasks.
• Monitor project progress and adjust schedules as needed to meet deadlines.
• Manage tools, equipment, and materials on-site.
• Ensure timely delivery and availability of resources.
• Identify issues that may delay the project and take corrective action.
• Resolve conflicts between workers, contractors, or with plans/specs.
• Maintain accurate site records (daily logs, progress reports, material usage, etc.).
• Communicate project status to project managers and stakeholders.
• Monitor labor and material costs to avoid overruns.
• Suggest cost-saving methods and efficiency improvements.
