This role requires an individual who will lead a team of skilled mechanics in the repair and maintenance of marine engines onboard vessels. The ideal candidate has a strong technical background with at least 2 years of relevant experience in shipyards, boat design, and diesel engine repair, along with a passion for delivering high-quality service in fast-paced maritime environments.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and oversee a team of mechanics in the troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of marine engines onboard vessels.
  • Provide expert advice and solutions on mechanical and electrical systems, ensuring optimal engine performance.
  • Coordinate and manage subcontractors handling mechanical and electrical tasks related to engine repairs.
  • Offer technical advice to customers regarding the maintenance, service, and repair of marine engines and related ship systems.
  • Respond to and resolve technical inquiries from customers in collaboration with the companys Service Repair Team.
  • Perform hands-on repair work on various marine engine systems, as required.
Requirements / Qualifications
