Job summary

A local education center in Singapore is looking for a Teacher/Tutor to conduct engaging 1 to 1 lessons. The candidate must have at least a Diploma or Degree and be able to teach one subject confidently (Math, Science, Chemistry, Biology, or Economics). No prior teaching experience is necessary as training will be provided. Flexible teaching levels are available based on the candidate's strengths. This position allows for growth in an encouraging environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver 1 to 1 engaging lessons based on the centre’s syllabus.
• Teach primary/secondary/JC students based on strength.
• Provide feedback and progress updates to parents.
• Help prepare students for school and major exams.
• Maintain a positive and disciplined environment.
• Assist with simple centre operations when required.

Working days : 6 days (off on Friday)
Working hours:
- Mon - Thu : 11.30am - 7.30pm
- Sat & Sun : 9.30am - 6.30pm
Location: Near Rochor MRT

Requirements

• Minimum Diploma or Degree in any discipline
• Able to teach at least one subject confidently: Math / Science / Chemistry / Biology / Economics
• No prior teaching experience required – training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver 1 to 1 engaging lessons based on the centre’s syllabus and materials.
• Teach primary / secondary / JC students (level can be adjusted based on your strength).
• Provide feedback and simple progress updates to parents when needed.
• Help prepare students for school exams and major exams.
• Maintain a positive, encouraging and disciplined environment.
• Assist with simple centre operations (e.g. admin, arranging materials) when required.
