Job summary

About Us

Metta Hospice Care and Metta HomeCare provide home-based nursing services for individuals with chronic illnesses, organ failure, or those requiring palliative support. Since 2000, our Hospice team has served over 5,000 terminally ill patients, while our HomeCare division supports seniors and patients with chronic conditions to age in place with dignity.

As a Staff Nurse, you will deliver compassionate, professional nursing care directly at patients’ homes—supporting their physical comfort, emotional well-being, and overall quality of life.

You may be assigned to either Hospice Care or HomeCare, depending on experience and service needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct regular home visits and nursing assessments.
  • Develop, implement, and review individualised care plans.
  • Administer medications and perform nursing procedures (e.g. wound care, catheterisation, NG tube).
  • Educate and support caregivers in home-based care and symptom management.
  • Coordinate referrals and collaborate with doctors, therapists, and community partners.
  • Maintain accurate documentation in line with PDPA and service standards.
  • Support occasional outreach, volunteer, or fundraising activities.
Requirements
  • Diploma/Degree in Nursing, registered with Singapore Nursing Board (SNB).
  • At least 2–3 years of clinical experience (community, palliative, or home nursing preferred).
  • Palliative Care certification is an advantage.
  • Empathetic, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
  • Comfortable with home visits and community-based care.
