What You’ll Do

You will partner with sales and solution engineering teams to build pipelines and achieve revenue goals, while also sharing market insights with risk product and engineering teams to help shape the product roadmap. By building trusted relationships with senior customer executives, you will expand the adoption of Airwallex’s fraud solutions across new and existing customers. As a domain expert, you will elevate the wider team by developing reusable content and mentoring colleagues on high-value, complex engagements. You will also lead customer workshops and take ownership of key strategic opportunities, serving as the global product expert for Airwallex’s risk solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement tailored fraud solutions for key merchant segments, with specialized expertise in managing high-risk industries—including Gaming, Online Travel, AI Services, and Social Discovery platforms.
• Act as a strategic risk consultant, conducting quarterly business reviews and delivering insight-rich presentations to align merchant risk strategies with platform security objectives.
• Continuously monitor merchant performance indicators—such as approval rates, transaction trends, and fraud alerts—to deploy proactive measures that enhance payment integrity.
• Guide merchants in optimizing fraud rule configurations, assess the impact of custom logic, and audit the effectiveness of allowlist policies.
• Function as the global subject matter expert on Airwallex risk solutions, supporting opportunity acceleration across regions.
• Serve as the internal “Voice of the Customer,” advocating for product enhancements and feature prioritization based on competitive analysis and evolving fraud patterns.

Who we are looking for:

• 8+ years of experience in a pre-sales, technical consulting, product, or risk strategy role focused on e-commerce fraud prevention, risk management, or trust & safety.
• Deep technical knowledge of payment risk typologies, including Card Fraud, Account Takeover (ATO), Friendly Fraud, and Chargeback management.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across functions.
• Exceptional problem-discovery and diagnostic capabilities, with a proven track record of resolving complex issues in ambiguous and evolving landscapes.
• Highly adaptable with strong "learning agility," capable of mastering new technologies and market trends with minimal ramp-up time.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL and Python is a strong plus, with the ability to manage the end-to-end data lifecycle—from raw data acquisition to delivering executive-level insights.
• Experience with risk management for various business models, such as platforms/marketplaces, subscription services, and digital goods/SaaS.
