EDE is a fully integrated equipment development team that designs and builds precision automated assembly equipment and vision inspection machines. Responsibilities
  • To support in designing and developing machine learning models and algorithms tailored for equipment development as in image & video-AI analytics.
  • Perform fine tuning and optimization for performance scalability, and reliability within the equipment development domain.
  • Design and develop machine vision and/or deep learning software to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and productivity for precision, high-throughput automated equipment.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to gather requirements, design system architectures, and implement software solutions.
  • Implement best practices for software development, including code reviews, testing, and documentation.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation and continuous improvement in automation software solutions.
  • Perform continuous improvement and enhancement to the existing equipment software toward Smart Autonomous Manufacturing.
Qualifications

Experience
  • Preferable with Computer Vision and Artificial Intelligence, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or other similar/equivalent engineering background.
  • Knowledge in Python, C# programming, or other machine learning frameworks.
  • Processes visualization skillset in Tableau, or Power BI.
  • Proficiency in computing to process and analyze large datasets efficiently.
  • Experience in data science and AI technology through past projects shall be favorable.
  • Interest in transforming data science prototypes into production‑ready solutions.
  • Fresh graduates with strong interest and academic results in the field of automation control, software programming, vision‑based AI &/or experience in MvTec Halcon toolkits are welcome.
  • Knowledge and/or experience in EtherCAT fieldbus, SolidWorks 3D, machine vision technology, or Control Automation will be an added advantage.
  • Processes interest in transforming data science prototypes into production‑ready solutions with knowledge of Python, Web design, Pytorch, TorchSharp library, and/or other machine learning frameworks.
