Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Solutions Architect to support Global Corporate Investment Banking and Global Transaction Services. This role will provide architectural direction and technology solutions aligned with business strategy across Payments, Accounting Services, Liquidity Management, Receivables, Trade Supply Chain Finance, and Commercial Card domains.

The person will define architectural vision, ensure adherence to enterprise standards, manage architecture-related risks, and collaborate closely with business and technology stakeholders across global teams.

Job Responsibilities

• Define and drive solution architecture aligned with business strategy, enterprise architecture principles, and approved technology platforms

• Develop architectural vision, solution intent, system landscapes, interfaces, and non-functional requirements

• Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, vendors, and technology teams to ensure solutions are fit for purpose

• Lead high-level architecture design and evolve it as business requirements emerge

• Ensure architecture is modular, scalable, secure, and adaptable to future needs

• Apply best practices, standards, templates, and architectural documentation frameworks

• Support product roadmaps by prioritizing architecture-related backlog items

• Provide architectural guidance to development teams during implementation

• Conduct design reviews to ensure performance, security, reliability, maintainability, and scalability requirements are met

• Drive continuous improvement of technology solutions, tools, and processes

• Support shared services strategy and promote high performance culture

• Translate complex technical concepts into clear architectural views for different audiences

• Contribute to automation, root cause analysis, and development of common platforms and solutions

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience)

• Minimum 10 years of experience in Banking or Financial Services technology environment

• Proven experience in solution architecture across enterprise systems and platforms

• Strong domain knowledge in one or more of the following preferred:

  • Payments

  • Accounting Services

  • Liquidity Management

  • Receivables

  • Trade Supply Chain Finance

  • Commercial Cards

• Broad IT knowledge including financial systems, middleware, databases, and enterprise platforms

• Experience working in SDLC environments (Agile and/or Waterfall)

• Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills

• Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail capabilities

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-based environment
