Qualifications

The team is seeking talented individuals to join as Software Engineers - we are hiring multiple headcounts. You will need to be familiar with ServiceNow, ITSM platform or similar products. This will be under contract employment till 30 November 2028.

Responsibilities

• Apply the principles of software engineering to translate functional requirements into technical designs, and perform the coding, maintenance, testing and evaluation of computer software;
• Recommend and evaluate detailed designs of system components to ensure reusability and flexibility are practised;
• Work within an Agile development team to deliver secure, high quality applications; adopt and participate in proven software engineering practices such as:

1. Unit Testing
2. Continuous Integration
3. Refactoring
4. Test Driven Development

• Document clearly and properly the processes, codes, and decisions made during the development and testing of software / applications;
• Perform peer code reviews;
• Ensure good quality of codes via the writing of relevant tests;
• Perform any other IT related tasks / duties as and when assigned to support the smooth business operations

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ programming experience in Javascript, Python, Bash Scripting and Powershell Scripting;
• Minimum 1 year working on ServiceNow ITSM / CSM platforms is preferred.

Additional skills and knowledge

• Experience in Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban;
• Knowledge of API management / API development as well as design patterns architectures such as thin clients and microservices;
• Experience in web development (e.g. HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, AngularJS), Web Services integration (e.g. SOAP, REST, JSON, XML) and Database development (e.g. MySQL, NoSQL and SQLServer);
• Skills / knowledge in both mobile and web UI / UX design;
• Knowledge of critical thinking;
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; and solid experience in full SDLC in workflow projects.
