Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and guide a team of Java developers.
• Conduct code reviews, provide feedback, and ensure adherence to best practices.
• Foster a collaborative and productive team environment.
• Oversee the technical architecture and ensure alignment with business requirements.
• Address and resolve technical challenges and performance issues.
• Work with project managers to define project scope, timelines, and deliverables.
• Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
• Monitor progress and adjust plans as needed to accommodate changes.
• Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather and understand requirements.
• Translate business needs into technical solutions and provide estimates for development.
• Establish and enforce coding standards and best practices.
• Implement and maintain automated testing and continuous integration processes.
• Ensure code quality, performance, and security.Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications and user guides.Report on project status, technical issues, and team performance to management.Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.Identify opportunities for process improvements and technology enhancements.

Requirement :

• Bachelor Degree in Software Engineering / Computer Science / Information Technology or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience in Java development, with a proven track record of leading and managing teams.
• Strong experience with Java frameworks (e.g., Spring, Hibernate) and tools.
• Experience with front-end technologies (e.g., Angular, React).
• Experience working with REST/SOAP api development (e.g openAPI spec).
• Experience developing secure compliant code(e.g OWASP compliant).
• Experience with testing frameworks (e.g Junit).
• Experience with low code platform is a plus.
• Experience with Newgen Product and Services.
• Expertise in Java and related technologies.
• Strong understanding of software design principles and architecture.
• Proficiency in database management (SQL and NoSQL).
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
