Role Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Finacle Core Banking Application Programmer with strong Java development expertise and mandatory hands-on banking domain experience. This role involves end-to-end ownership of Finacle application development, customization, and production support in a regulated banking environment.

This position is strictly for professionals with deep, real-world exposure to Finacle Core Banking systems. Candidates with only generic Java development experience or limited banking exposure will not be considered.

Key Requirements (Mandatory)

• 10+ years of overall IT experience, with significant exposure to the Banking / BFSI domain

• Strong hands-on experience with Finacle Core Banking (Finacle 10.x / 11 preferred)

• Expert-level Java development skills in enterprise banking applications

• Proven experience across core banking modules including:

  • CASA

  • Term Deposits

  • Loans

  • Interfaces

  • EOD / BOD batch operations

• Hands-on experience in Finacle customization, including:

  • Custom menus and screens

  • Product enhancements

  • Batch programs and scripts

• Practical experience with SIT, UAT, production deployment, and change management

• Solid understanding of banking operations, audit processes, and regulatory compliance

• Mandatory experience supporting Singapore or regional banking implementations

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, enhance, and support Finacle Core Banking applications

• Perform Java-based development and system integrations within the core banking landscape

• Develop and maintain Finacle custom menus, batch jobs, scripts, and interfaces

• Actively participate in SIT, UAT, and production release activities

• Manage change requests end-to-end, including documentation, approvals, and implementation

• Support EOD/BOD, month-end, and regulatory batch processing

• Collaborate closely with business users, operations teams, and stakeholders to resolve functional and technical issues

• Ensure strict adherence to banking governance, security standards, and compliance requirements
