Job Description

The Software Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining web and mobile applications that support business operations across various departments. This role involves working closely with end-users and stakeholders to understand requirements, deliver effective solutions, and continuously improve application performance and usability. The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and capable of managing the full development lifecycle while ensuring quality, reliability, and security of systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain web and mobile applications to support various departmental needs.
  • Handle the full development cycle: requirements gathering, design, coding, testing, deployment, and documentation.
  • Implement enhancements and new features based on user needs and operational requirements.
  • Work closely with end-users to understand workflow, issues, and improvement areas.
  • Translate user requirements into functional and technical specifications.
  • Provide training and user guidance for newly deployed features or applications.
  • Collect feedback from stakeholders to support continuous improvement.
  • Monitor performance and stability of deployed applications.
  • Troubleshoot issues, investigate bugs, and provide timely fixes.Ensure minimal downtime and smooth operation of applications.
  • Work collaboratively with team members to share knowledge, solve problems, and maintain consistent development standards.
  • Contribute to process improvements and best practices within the IT development team.
  • Maintain proper documentation for features, fixes, and workflows.
  • Conduct functional testing, UAT support, and validation of new features or releases.
  • Ensure solutions meet quality, security, and operational requirements.
Qualifications
  • Degree, Diploma, or ITE qualification in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum 1 to 2 years of experience in software or application development.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
  • Good communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with users and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Hands‑on experience with application development platforms (e.g. AppSheet or similar tools).
  • Detail‑oriented with a strong focus on quality, reliability, and continuous improvement.
