Maker Lab’s cross-functional teams of multidisciplinary specialists are embedded into client teams across digital marketing competencies — from measurement & analytics to content production.

Role Summary

Creative Lead for a major tourism brand. You’ll be the visionary for social-first campaigns, setting artistic direction and mentoring the team. Requires 12+ years’ experience and a track record of world‑class creative execution, evolving brand voice, and leading pure social concepts.

Role
  • Creative Vision & Leadership: Lead all creative brainstorming, concept development, and scripting sessions from ideation to completion, driving bar‑raising content across all social platforms.
  • Creative Recommendations: Proactively recommend social‑first creative insights to the team to help content optimisation by synthesising the information from trends, reports and innovative best practices.
  • Brand Guardianship: Establish and evolve the visual language and tone of voice for the client's social channels, ensuring consistency, innovation, and alignment with the client's strategic objectives.
  • Quality Control: Personally approve all final creative work before client presentation, ensuring it meets the highest standards of excellence.
  • Strategic Collaboration: Collaborate closely with the Social Strategist to translate strategic insights and foundations into powerful, actionable, and impossible‑to‑ignore creative concepts.
  • Team Development: Provide direct mentorship, constructive feedback, and guidance to all Content Creators, fostering their skills and pushing their creative boundaries.
  • Trend & Innovation: Stay at the global forefront of creative trends, design techniques, and social media formats, proactively infusing the team's work with fresh, forward‑thinking ideas.
  • Execution Management: Source and manage freelancers, third‑party vendors, and production partners, ensuring timely and high‑quality delivery across all projects.
You
  • Minimum 12+ years of experience creating world‑class work for top‑tier brands, preferably with a mix of in‑house and agency creative leadership experience.
  • Proven experience in a senior creative role (e.g., Creative Director, Associate Creative Director, or Senior Creative Lead) managing multiple projects from concept through to completion.
  • Expertise in cross‑channel visual language strategies and execution across digital, social, events, and motion graphics.
  • Exceptional creative and conceptual thinking; you are a multi‑faced creative leader not tied to specific formats, able to execute and guide design across all mediums (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, interactive media).
  • A sharp‑eyed, detail‑oriented creative ambassador with a strong sense of layout, colour, composition, and type.
  • Ability and prior experience in social media content creation, e.g. shooting, editing and filming content is advantageous.
  • Demonstrated experience providing mentorship and actionable creative feedback to develop team skills.
  • Exceptional verbal and written English communication and presentation skills.
Contract type: 2 years fixed term contract
