Senior Product & Program Manager (Robotics)

Botmind builds end-to-end robotics solutions that helps enterprises deploy and operate robots at scale.

Role Summary

We are looking for a Senior Product & Program Manager to own both product execution and program delivery for Botmind’s robotics platform and deployments. You will translate real-world operational needs into clear product requirements, drive cross-functional delivery across hardware/software/AI/integrations, and keep complex multi-party programs on track.

This role also serves as a key “force multiplier” to supportthe Chief Product Officer (CPO) in managing the end-to-end product and project lifecycle—ensuring priorities are clear, delivery is predictable, and stakeholders stay aligned.

Key Responsibilities

1) Product Management (Build the right thing)

• Own the product roadmap execution for key platform modules (fleet ops dashboard, job workflows, integrations, alerts, reporting).
• Translate customer/ops needs into PRDs, user journeys, epics/stories, acceptance criteria, and non-functional requirements (reliability, security, performance, observability).
• Drive prioritization with clear trade-offs (impact vs effort vs risk), and manage scope through disciplined change control.

2) Program / Delivery Management (Build it right, on time)

• Lead end-to-end delivery across workstreams: software, robotics, site readiness, vendor integrations, QA/testing, rollout.
• Own governance: master plan, milestones, dependencies, RAID log, decision log, release plan, rollout checklist.
• Run cadence using Agile/Scrum practices (planning, grooming, standups, retros, release planning) and ensure delivery predictability.
• Drive readiness for FRC/FAT/UAT/go-live, including test plans, sign-offs, launch criteria, and post-launch stabilization.

• Support CPO/CEO by maintaining a single source of truth across roadmap, delivery plans, risks, and decisions (Jira/Confluence).
• Prepare concise project and product updates: progress, blockers, risks, decisions required, and next steps.
• Facilitate alignment across leadership and teams via decision memos, meeting agendas, action trackers, and follow-ups.
• Ensure initiatives move smoothly through the cycle: discovery → definition → build → test → launch → iterate, with clear owners and timelines.
• Support project deployment on site.

3) AI & Cross-Functional Project Leadership

• Manage delivery of AI-related projects/features (e.g., video analytics, detection/classification, assistants, automation workflows).
• Work with engineering/data teams to define success metrics, validation approach, deployment constraints, and real-world monitoring.

4) Research / Innovation Program Management (IHL / Research Institutes)

• Manage joint projects with IHLs and research institutes: milestones, reporting, reviews, deliverables, and alignment to product requirements.
• Translate research outputs into deployable product capabilities and integration plans.

5) Operational Excellence & Documentation

• Create repeatable templates/playbooks (PRDs, test readiness, rollout, handover runbooks, post-mortems).
• Improve delivery quality through structured planning, risk management, and continuous improvement.

Requirements (Must-have)

• 6–10+ years in Product + Program/Project Management (or hybrid roles), delivering B2B/enterprise products.
• Strong experience running Agile delivery (Scrum/Kanban).
• Hands‑on proficiency with Jira and Confluence (epics/stories, dashboards, roadmaps, documentation).
• Proven track record managing cross‑functional delivery with external stakeholders/vendors.
• Strong communication: can write crisp PRDs, decision memos, exec updates.
• First Class Honour in Computer Science, Information Technology related degree

Strongly Preferred

• Experience managing research/innovation projects with IHLs and/or research institutes.
• Experience delivering and operationalizing AI projects across cross‑functional teams.
• Familiarity with robotics/IoT deployments and integration constraints (site readiness, networking/security, go‑live).

Technical Plus Points

• Fluent in Python (debugging, analysis, prototyping validations, log/telemetry analysis).
• Understanding of ROS/ROS2 concepts (nodes/topics/services, navigation stack basics, integration patterns).
