Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Account Executive with at least 3 years of hands‑on experience in full set accounting, including managing the accounts of subsidiary companies. The ideal candidate will be responsible for financial reporting, month‑end closing, consolidation support, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
Minimum Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of accounting experience, including:
- Handling full set of accounts
- Managing subsidiaries or multi‑entity accounting
- Exposure to audits, consolidations, and financial reporting
Key Responsibilities
Full Set Accounting
- Manage full set of accounts including AP, AR, GL, bank reconciliation, and journal entries.
- Handle month‑end, quarter‑end, and year‑end closing activities.
- Prepare financial statements, management reports, and schedules.
Subsidiary Management
- Maintain bookkeeping and financial records for subsidiary companies.
- Assist in intercompany transactions, eliminations, and balance reconciliations.
- Coordinate with subsidiary teams on financial matters and documentation.
Reporting & Compliance
- Prepare monthly and annual financial and management reports.
- Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and company policies.
- Support external and internal audit processes, providing required documentation.
Financial Operations
- Manage cash flow, payment processing, and expense claims.
- Monitor and verify invoices, billing, and vendor statements.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
Administrative & Support Functions
- Maintain accurate filing of accounting documents.
- Provide accounting support to management and related departments.
- Assist in implementation of process improvements and accounting system upgrades.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of full set accounts and multi‑entity accounting.
- Familiarity with accounting standards and audit requirements.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SQL, Xero, MYOB, SAP, QuickBooks).
- Good Excel skills (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, formulas).
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem‑solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Preferred Additional Skills
- Experience in consolidation reporting (advantage).
- Knowledge of tax filing, GST/SST/VAT (depending on region).
- Ability to streamline accounting processes and improve workflow efficiency.
