Job summary

A leading construction firm in Singapore is seeking a qualified Civil Engineer to coordinate site works, supervise subcontractors, and ensure timely project delivery. Candidates should possess at least 5 years of experience in civil engineering, strong communication skills, and be proficient in interpreting drawings and managing tendering processes. This role is critical for maintaining safety standards on-site and collaborating with project stakeholders.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years' experience in civil engineering, particularly in construction of civil infrastructure projects.
• Practical experience and knowledge of tendering works.
• Able to maintain safety procedures at the worksite.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Co-ordinate and supervise site works and subcontractors.
• Keep track of the site schedule to ensure works are on time.
• Able to interpret drawings and calculations of site materials
• Liaise with QS to monitor work schedule , claim and Vos.
• Report to Construction Manager / Project Manager on site matters and progress of work.
• Attend to site meetings
• Compliance to safe work procedures and maintain good house-keeping

Requirements:

• At least Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in civil engineering or equivalent.
• At least 5 years experience in civil engineering , relevant experiences in construction of civil infrastructure project , LTA project.
• Practical experience and knowledge of tendering works
• Good command of English
• Able to draw 2D / 3D
