About the job Singapore Financial Accountant

We are looking for a proactive and detail-orientedFinancial Accountant with Singapore accounting experienceto join our team. You will manage daily accounting operations, ensure financial accuracy, and support reporting and compliance activities under both Philippine and Singapore standards. You will work closely with management to maintain organized, accurate, and compliant financial records.

Experience with Xero accounting software and Juan Tax — including reconciliations, reporting, and system integrations — is essential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform bank reconciliations and ensure all transactions are recorded accurately.
  • Manage general accounting functions, including journal entries, accruals, and prepayments.
  • Handle accounts payable and receivable, including invoice creation and processing.
  • Prepare monthly financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) based on PFRS and SFRS.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
  • Maintain accurate ledger accounts and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
  • Assist in budget preparation and variance analysis.
  • Collaborate with auditors and provide documentation during audit periods.
  • Assist in preparing and submitting tax returns to BIR (Philippines) and IRAS (Singapore), including GST/VAT, Income Tax, and Withholding Taxes.
  • Utilize Xero for accounting, reconciliations, reporting, and system integrations.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • at least 6+ years of accounting experience, with demonstrated Singapore experience (SFRS reporting, IRAS compliance).
  • Willing to work onsite in Alabang
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Highly organized, accurate, and detail-oriented.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Excel and comfortable with accounting systems.
