Job description
  • Silversmith / Goldsmith
  • Working days: 5 days
  • Location:Loyang
  • Basic Salary: $2,000 - $3,000 + Bonus
Position Summary
  1. The Silversmith is responsible for crafting, assembling, repairing, and finishing sterling silver and precious-metal components used in Company Luxury products.
  2. This role requires strong technical skills in metal forming, soldering, polishing, and precision craftsmanship to meet the company’s high standards of quality, detailing, and finishing.
Key Responsibilities
Metal Fabrication & Craftsmanship
  • Hand-craft, shape, form, and assemble silver components using traditional and modern silversmithing techniques.
  • Perform soldering, brazing, annealing, and metal-joining tasks with precision and accuracy.
  • Fabricate components such as bases, frames, bezels, hinges, clasps, plaques, and decorative elements.
  • Conduct engraving prep work (e.g., surface leveling, layout marking) as required.
Repair, Assembly & Finishing
  • Carry out fine repairs, adjustments, and restoration of silver or mixed-metal items.
  • Assemble multi-component products according to technical drawings, prototypes, or instructions.
  • Perform polishing, buffing, sanding, filing, and surface finishing to achieve Royal Insignia’s high-quality finish.
  • Ensure proper fitting and alignment of parts prior to delivery to downstream departments (e.g., plating, stone setting, QC).
Tools & Equipment
  • Safely operate metalworking tools such as saws, files, hammers, mandrels, anvils, torches, rotary tools, rolling mills, and forming stakes.
  • Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition; report any faults promptly.
  • Handle materials carefully to minimize waste and avoid damage.
Technical Documentation
  • Interpret technical drawings, sketches, prototypes, and specifications accurately.
  • Provide input during design or product development to ensure manufacturability.
  • Maintain production records, timesheets, and job cards as required.
Quality Control
  • Inspect self-completed work to ensure adherence to dimensional, aesthetic, and functional standards.
  • Work closely with QC to address defects, reworks, and improvements.
  • Uphold Royal Insignia’s standards for precision, finish, and craftsmanship.
Safety & Housekeeping
  • Adhere to all safety procedures related to metalwork, heat sources, chemicals, and tools.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation according to 5S practices.
  • Follow all company policies, SOPs, and security protocols.
