As the worlds most awarded airline SIA is looking for scholarship candidates who are passionate about aviation have strong academic records with co‑curricular achievements and leadership qualities. As a SIA Scholar you will get the opportunity to be rotated across different fields such as commercial operations and planning based on business requirements. Overseas opportunities are also available through the Trainee Station Manager and Overseas Manager Schemes. We invite candidates who are commencing their overseas undergraduate studies in 2026 or those serving National Service in 2026 and 2027 to apply.

Eligible Educational Institutions

• Prestigious overseas universities (outside of Singapore)

Eligiblity

• Be of Malay ethnicity / Muslim (for SIA-Mendaki Undergraduate Scholarship)
• Strong academic records in Secondary School / Institute of Technical Education / Polytechnic / Junior College / International Baccalaureate School (where applicable
• Strong leadership qualities as demonstrated in Co‑Curricular Activities (CCAs) and National Service* (if applicable)
• *Applicants currently serving their National Service may also apply

Bond Period

• 6 Years

Value of Awards

• Tuition and other compulsory fees
• Annual maintenance allowance
• One‑off pre‑studies allowance
• Reimbursement of university application and entrance test fees for up to three approved universities
• One Economy Class ticket on SIA services from Singapore to the country of study at the beginning of course and from the country of study to Singapore at the end of course
• One Economy Class return ticket on SIA services subject to the availability of seats at check‑in i.e subload travel from the country of study to Singapore per academic year for vacation attachment leisure or other purpose approved by SIA
• Internship attachments to SIA
