Overview

To manage, lead and oversee all aspects of daily operations for all manufacturing, manufacturing support and administrative functions needed to support shipyard operations. Responsibilities include, project execution including maintaining quality standards, cost effectiveness and time management to ensure projects are on time and within budget.

Responsibilities

• Minimum 18 years’ experience in managerial role or other management level responsibilities in a shipyard environment.
• In depth knowledge of all business functions associated with shipyard management.
• Ability to understand and administer Classification guidelines
• Ability to apply Continuous Improvement strategies across all functions.
• Considerable knowledge in all areas of shipbuilding and repair, material handling, labour, safety and product related state and federal regulations and practices.
• Proactive with good problem-solving skills, resourceful and able to work towards deadlines with right sense of urgency
• Possess good communication and interpersonal skills with outstanding proficiency in English and Bangladesh
