Shipping & Logistics Executive / Manager

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Shipping & Logistics Senior Executive / Manager to manage end-to-end import/export operations, bonded warehouse processes, and customs compliance. The ideal candidate must have hands‑on experience with Singapore bonded warehouse requirements, customs permit declaration, and dutiable goods handling.

Key Responsibilities

Bonded Warehouse & Customs

• Manage daily operations for bonded warehouse (in-bond/out-bond).
• Apply and verify customs permits (In-Permit, Out-Permit, OO permit, etc.).
• Ensure accurate HS Code, duty/GST suspension, and document compliance.
• Maintain full audit trail and prepare records for customs inspections.

Shipping & Freight

• Handle sea/air/land import and export shipments.
• Liaise with freight forwarders, suppliers, and carriers.
• Verify shipping documents (BL, AWB, invoice, packing list).
• Track and update shipment status.

Warehouse & Delivery

• Coordinate with warehouse on receiving, picking, and local deliveries.
• Monitor inventory movement between bonded and non-bonded zones.
• Handle delivery issues, return shipments, and transport arrangement.

Reporting & Process Improvement

• Prepare reports (bonded stock movement, inbound/outbound, freight costs).
• Improve SOPs to enhance compliance and operational efficiency.

(Manager Level)

• Lead and train shipping/logistics staff.
• Oversee team performance and workflow planning.

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in shipping/logistics, including bonded warehouse operations.
• Strong knowledge of Singapore Customs regulations & dutiable goods handling.
• Hands‑on experience with permit declaration (TradeNet / brokers).Familiar with WMS (SAP advantage).
