Responsibilities

  • Manage all contracts in accordance with charter party agreements.
  • Coordinate shipping operations and ensure compliance with internal procedures.
  • Oversee chartering operations for VC/COA/CVC/owned vessels.
  • Monitor vessels’ daily itineraries and provide timely updates.
  • Perform laytime calculation and freight differential calculation.
  • Handle financial matters related to freight, demurrage, and port disbursement.
  • Gather, verify, and analyze operational data.

Working Hours

Monday to Friday: 8:30am – 5:30pm

Company Introduction

The company is engaged in iron ore trading and has its headquarters in China. It operates its own fleet of vessels, mainly Capesize bulk carriers, for international shipping and logistics activities.

Responsibilities

Your job duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

1. Shipping Operation Coordination, Documentation & Risk Management
  • Manage all contracts in accordance with charter party agreements.

  • Coordinate shipping operations and ensure compliance with internal procedures and industry standards.

2. Dynamic Tracking & Emergency Response Management
  • Oversee chartering operations for VC/COA/CVC/owned vessels.

  • Monitor vessels’ daily itineraries and provide timely updates.

  • Immediately report any irregularities or operational issues to the chartering supervisor.

3. Contract Management & Settlement
  • Perform laytime calculation and freight differential calculation as instructed by the chartering supervisor.

  • Handle freight, demurrage, despatch, port disbursement, and other related financial matters.

4. Information Collection & Analysis
  • Gather, verify, and analyze operational data to support decision-making and improve operational efficiency.

5. Other Ad-Hoc Duties
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.
